Wycombe's first team stars have called for caution on Tuesday evening, as the Wanderers prepare to take on Luton Town at Kenilworth Road. The Hatters, hindered by a 30-point deduction, have already been consigned to relegation - but two of Peter Taylor's key men have dismissed any chance of over confidence going into their key game in hand.
"I'm sure they will be up for it as they are professionals and we respect that," Jon-Paul Pittman told
wwfc.com.
"They've got pride at stake and no-one wants to lose. They will certainly not roll over and let someone beat them. It will be a tough one."
Club captain David McCracken was able to celebrate a club record for clean sheets in a season after another shutout against Aldershot, but has also paid respect to Mick Harford's side ahead of the clash.
"It's a massive game where we could pick up some extra points, we'll be looking to do that and then continue into the game on Saturday," said 'Cracks'.
"Having good away support helps a great deal. We'll be coming up against a side that has already been relegated but they will be planning for next season, will still be playing for the shirt and of course for their own fans."
Wycombe's initial allocation for the encounter is now SOLD OUT. Tickets will be available on the door at full price. For more ticket information
