Following Wycombe's draw with Morecambe on Saturday Wanderers boss Peter Taylor revealed to wwfc.com that the point his side collected in the north west was a good one as the Blues continue their push for League One football.
The game at Christie Park was limited in terms of chances and although the Blues couldn't find the net they did notch up their third clean sheet in a row and 17th of the campaign, only two of the club's all-time record.
Taylor said: "I'm pleased with the point because in the second half we had to dig in. First half I was very happy with us, I thought we showed some good things and had a couple of opportunities to get a goal.
"The second half wasn't so good for us and better for a Morecambe side who have been playing good some football so that's why I'm delighted to go away with a point.
"I'm pleased with the clean sheets, the team worked especially hard to keep one on Saturday, but we need to start creating more chances. I'm concerned with the lack of goals and I tried to change it so we created more chances and obviously we were all hoping one of them would have led to a goal but it didn't happen.
"Hopefully we can get another 14 clean sheets and that'll mean we get at least 14 points anyway! Hopefully we can get a goal now and then as well."
And Taylor has called on his entire Wanderers squad to rectify the problem and start firing again as the Blues head into two games at Adams Park this week, Chester City on Tuesday before Chesterfield make the journey to Buckinghamshire on Saturday.
He said: "It's not as if we're missing chances we're just not creating enough. I don't think we've got anybody in the building who will be a 30-goal a year man so we've all got to contribute.
"I'm pleased Zebroski's (Chris) back from suspension, he's another one who has scored goals and hopefully JP Pittman will be fresher, he was a bit tired and that's why I didn't start him. I was delighted with Stuart Beavon, he is going to contribute towards making and scoring chances."
Following the draw at Christie Park the Blues slipped to third in the League Two table, with Rochdale overtaking the Wanderers on goal difference, but Taylor isn't worried by his side's current position.
He said: "I'm not concerned that we're third. When it gets to May time and if we're second or first then I'll take that. The next two at home are big matches for us. If we go another round of fixtures without scoring then we could be down to fourth or fifth and we know that."
Midfielder Matt Bloomfield was the unfortunate man who was left out of the 16-man squad after travelling with the team but Taylor was quick to move to support the midfielder after the game.
The Wanderers boss said: "It was a hard decision. Matty has played really well in open play but he hasn't scored and I had to make a decision there. Lewwis Spence came into replace him ad once we get him on that left foot he can take a goal. Hard for Matt but he'll be fine."
Taylor also praised Jamie Young who played his thrid consecutive game between the posts for the Blues.
He said: "He's making right decisions, he's been solid when needed and he's looked good. I'm pleased with him.
And you'll hear from the man himself tomorrow after wwfc.com caught up with the Aussie stopper after the game at Christie Park.
