Stuart Beavon believes he's at the right club to continue his rich vein of goalscoring form this season.

The 'Beaver' scored 14 goals for Weymouth before he secured his emergency loan move to the Wanderers in the opening week of the loan transfer window and he is confident of adding to the tally with the Blues.

The striker was handed his debut by Peter Taylor as a second half substitute in the stalemate with Rotherham on Monday evening and Beavon went close to opening his account on a couple of occasions.

He told wwfc.com: "I'm confident of scoring goals here. The team create a lot of chances so I'd like to think that I would score a few goals here."

And although the 24-year-old has already reached double figures this campaign, Beavon isn't being drawn on setting targets between now and the end of the season as he thinks it will have a negative impact on him in front of goal.

"I don't like setting targets to be honest; when I do the goals don't seem to come, so I'm not going to set one!"
