Peter Taylor strengthened his squad last week when he signed Stuart Beavon on loan from Weymouth and the Terras' fans message boards have been inundated with good luck messages for their former striker.

The 24-year-old forward scored 14 times for Weymouth before securing his move to the Blues and, if selected, Beavon will make his first appearance for the Blues in Monday night's game with Rotherham at Adams Park.

Beavon set the Blue Square Premier alight during his time with Weymouth and the Terras fans have no doubt that he will be able to make the step up into the Football League.

Here are some of the Terras' fans comments:

Brighton terra wrote: "In my 30 years of following the Terras I would say that Beaver is the best player that I have seen pull on a Weymouth shirt. Never have I been so sad to see a player leave the club. Good luck Stuart, you have always given 100% when you've worn the shirt and I really hope this is a stepping-stone to even bigger things. I will watch your career with great interest. I'm sure that Wycombe will have gained a few 'fans' as a consequence of this move."

Connor wrote:"A little surprised is the fact he's only going as far as League Two, but Peter Taylor is a great boss to have and Wycombe are looking to be there or thereabouts at the end of the season. So good luck Beaver, without a doubt one of the best (if not THE best) Muff players I've had the pleasure to watch."

AJ wrote: "He's a top player and has been a firm fans' favourite over the last couple of seasons. He will always be guaranteed to work hard for the whole team, not a selfish player at all."

Penwood wrote: "I think this a good move for Beavon, somewhat predictable, even if we hadn't have been in the current mess. A good chance of League One next season and a good experienced manager."
