CASEMENT STAYS WITH THE BLUES

Chris Casement has extended his stay with the Wanderers by a further month, wwfc.com can reveal.

The Northern Ireland U21 international joined from Championship side Ipswich Town in January and after impressing in the absence of the injured duo Lewis Hunt and TJ Moncur, Peter Taylor has handed Casement another 30 days with the Blues.

The new deal will run until Tuesday 10th March, making the 21-year-old available for the Wanderers' trip to Lincoln on that evening.

Casement has played every minute of the four games that the Blues have been involved in since he joined from the Tractor Boys and with Lewis Hunt not returning until March the defender could be line in for more match action in the coming weeks.

Chris is currently away on international duty with the Northern Ireland U21s side, as they get ready to host Wales on Tuesday evening.
