'JP' ARRIVES AT AP
By Ross Jeavons
Wycombe Wanderers can confirm they have completed the signing of highly rated Crawley Town striker Jon-Paul Pittman, for an undisclosed fee.
The 22-year-old braved the blizzards to arrive at Adams Park on Monday morning, where he signed a two and a half year deal.
Born in Oklahoma City, USA, the forward has scored ten goals in just over 20 games for the Red Devils this season and departs the Broadfield Stadium with an impressive total haul of 24 goals under his belt.
Pittman, known to most as 'JP', started his career as an Aston Villa trainee, but had spells with Nottingham Forest and Doncaster Rovers before eventually joining Crawley in 2007.
"I would like to thank (Crawley Manager) Steve Evans for aiding the boy's career and helping him with his move," Peter Taylor told wwfc.com.
"I'm excited to have him here, he's a very, very quick player and has had a nice grounding at Villa and Forest. Hopefully this is really going to work out for us."
Stay tuned to wwfc.com for all the action on transfer deadline day, as well as reaction from the 'JP' himself.
