Luke Oliver won't just be reuniting with Wycombe Wanderers after he signed for the club that he played for five years ago but manager Peter Taylor as well, after the pair worked together at Stevenage Borough.
The 6ft 8" centre-half has joined the Blues on a 18-month deal, which will run until June 2010, and he will take the number 6 shirt vacated by Mike Williamson, who moved to Watford earlier in the week.
Taylor has snapped up the 24-year-old on a free transfer and the Blues boss has revealed that he is looking forward to working with Oliver for the second time.
He exclusively told wwfc.com: "People know I had a short spell at Stevenage and Luke was the centre-back at the time. I knew he was out of contract in the summer and I probably would have moved for him then but because of losing Mike to Watford, I decided to do it now.
"He is a big, commanding centre-half who can help us. He could turn into a very good centre-back."
