Blues boss Peter Taylor admitted that his side suffered a 'bad day' in Saturday's 1-0 home defeat to Grimsby Town but declared that the team will learn from the mistakes in order to get back to winning ways against Bournemouth in their next match.

Taylor refused to get carried away when the Wanderers went nine points clear at the top of League Two last month and was certainly not going to over-react to only Wycombe's second defeat of the campaign, stating that he knows his men can do better:
"It was a bad day but there was enough to be positive about and as long as we learn from areas where we were disappointing, we'll be ok. That's our job for next week.
"We can play better and some players didn't have their best performances for us today, but that doesn't mean they won't play well next week," he added.
The Mariners upset the form guide by inflicting the Blues' first home defeat in the league in eleven months courtesy of Nathan Jarman's first-half strike, and Taylor thinks his men paid the penalty for a below-par opening 45 minutes:
"I think any team in any divison can beat anyone and fair play to Grimsby, they were better than us in the first half. We had a couple of chances in the second half but Mike (Grimsby manager Newell) has improved his team, as I knew he would.
"We scored extremely late when we played them last time and I hoped it would be the same case today but it wasn't to be. It was a very poor goal for us to concede but we'll learn from it."
