Ipswich Town defender Chris Casement has signed a one-month loan deal with the Wanderers.

The 20-year-old is an established Northern Ireland U21 international and will offer Peter Taylor plenty of versatility as a player comfortable anywhere along the back line.

Casement, who has made fourteen appearances in total for the Tractor Boys, has spent the first half the 2008/09 campaign on loan with Scottish side Hamilton Academicals.

On his new arrival Peter Taylor told wwfc.com: "We've now got injuries to David McCracken, Lewis Hunt and TJ Moncur so bringing in Chris means that we can take our time and get our players fit.

"We don't want to rush anything and if we have a strong squad for the last 22 matches then I'm sure we'll be in with a chance."

Wanderers World viewers will be able to catch an exclusive interview with Chris later on today - to subscribe click here.
