MCGLEISH RETURNS TO BLUES

Posted on: Mon 05 Jan 2009
By Ross Jeavons

Blues striker Scott McGleish has returned to Adams Park, after completing a three-month loan spell with Northampton Town.

The 34-year-old made 14 appearances for the Cobblers, scoring twice, including one F.A Cup strike against Leeds United.

The London-born forward will now return to training with the Wanderers and will be available for selection for the trip to Dagenham and Redbridge next Saturday.

McGleish smashed club records in the 2007/08 campaign, after bagging an astonishing 26 league goals.

His last goal in a Wycombe shirt came in dramatic fashion, as he coolly converted a penalty for a last minute equaliser against Darlington in October.
