Lewis Hunt will be out of action for at least two months after breaking a metatarsal in his foot, wwfc.com can reveal.

The Wanderers right-back suffered the injury in the Blues' 1-1 draw with Exeter City on Boxing Day and the former Derby man is set to now miss games up until early March.

Hunt, 26, who was signed on a free transfer by Peter Taylor from League One side Southend United in the summer, made his debut in the 1-1 draw with Barnet in October and following the game at Underhill the full-back played in the next 12 games before he suffered the injury against the Grecians.

Not only did Lewis make that right-back berth his own during that spell he also scored his first goal for the club, the winner in the 1-0 victory over Bradford City in November.

Everyone at the club wishes Lewis a speedy recovery.
