Wanderers striker Scott McGleish has extended his loan at Northampton Town until Saturday 3rd January.

The 34-year-old joined the League One side in October on an initial one-month deal but both club's have now agreed an extension to the deal.

McGleish has scored once for the Cobblers so far, with the goal coming in the 1-1 draw with Leeds United in the 1st round of the FA Cup at Elland Road.

Former Wanderers loanee Frank Fielding is also at the Cobblers with McGleish and the young goalkeeper was rewarded for his performances at club level last week with a sub appearance in the England U21 game with Czech Republic.
