Despite Matt Harrold notching up a superb hat-trick in the 4-1 win over AFC Wimbledon he told wwfc.com that he should have had more goals.

"I was delighted to get three goals," he said. "I was happy with all of my finishes but you always want more goals. However, I would have taken a hat-trick before the game, in fact I would have taken one!"

The former Southend man was a constant menace throughout the evening and all three of his goals were expertly taken. Monday night saw Matt collect the second matchball of his career, the other also coming in the FA Cup as a 19-year-old when he bagged three for Brentford in a first round tie with Gainsborough Trinity.

Wanderers' no.9 said: "It must be something about the FA Cup! It's a great feeling to score a hat-trick and I'm really buzzing. I feel like I'm playing well at the moment and hopefully more goals will come."

Matt's performance was without a shadow of a doubt his best in a Wycombe shirt and he deservedly picked up the Man of the Match award, but he knows he must continue to perform in the same manner with competition for places hotting up.

Harrold said: "I played up there on my own but I had good support from the midfield and I enjoyed it, as long as I'm playing I'm happy."

"We've got very good strikers at the club and I can't take my foot off the pedal."

Peter Taylor takes his side to Eastwood Town on Saturday 29th November in the next round and although they play in an equivalent to a division below AFC Wimbledon, the Unibond Premier, Matt knows the Blues must put in another performance of the same calibre to avoid a cup shock.

He said: "It's another potential banana skin. We will prepare as we have for this game, we will be very professional and hopefully go and there and get a win. To get into the third round would be great."

And the 24-year-old has already earmarked who he wants in the third round if the Wanderers were to make it - Arsene Wenger's Arsenal.

He said: "I support Arsenal so it would be great if we could draw them but we have to get past Eastwood Town first. We want to have a good cup run for the club and for the fans."

Keep it wwfc.com for reaction from Peter Taylor, Matt Bloomfield and Matty Phillips, why go anywhere else?
