SCOTTY STRIKES FOR NORTHAMPTON

Blues striker Scott McGleish bagged the first goal of his loan spell with Northampton Town in the FA Cup first round tie against Leeds United on Friday evening.

The 34-year-old joined the Cobblers on an initial one-month deal at the end of October after falling down the pecking order at Adams Park and gave Town a surprise lead at Elland Road, tapping home at the far post on 17 minutes.

Andy Robinson salvaged a draw for Leeds with a penalty in the first of 38 FA Cup ties to be played over the weekend, the last of which will see Wycombe take on AFC Wimbledon on Monday night at Kingsmeadow.

Stay tuned to wwfc.com for all the build-up to the cup tie with the Wombles.
