Peter Taylor has confirmed that loan stars Simon Church and Franck Moussa will not be available for the F.A Cup tie with A.F.C Wimbledon, but says it comes as no shock to his staff. The duo have been refused permission from their parent clubs to appear in the first round proper on Monday evening, as they would then be cup-tied in should either Reading or Southend wish to utilise them in future weeks.
"We won't be able to field either Franck or Simon, but that comes as no surprise to us," said Taylor.
"It was made clear to us on the day that we signed them that they would not be available for the F.A Cup, so it's no problem at all. Our preparations continue as normal and we have a good strong squad to travel up there next week."
Indeed the Wanderers have seen their injury and suspension woes ease over the past week, thanks to returns from the likes of Tommy Doherty, Matt Bloomfield and Leon Johnson.
With a lack of reserve games on offer in the coming months, Wycombe's boss has also revealed that certain players have been circulated for loan deals in an effort to grant them first team football.
"Derek Duncan, Leon Crooks, Lewis Christon and Robbie Rice have all been offered out on loan now, and I've recently added Will Antwi to that list so hopefully they can go out and get some match fitness," confirmed Taylor.
"They need to get some games, unfortunately the reserves' fixture list isn't looking that good and there aren't too many games on offer, so if we can a few out on loan for a month or so that would be great."
