New coach Martin Brennan has praised Scott Shearer and Jamie Young after taking his first session with the Wanderers' goalkeeping duo.

The 26-year-old joined from Premiership side Spurs last week as the club's new goalkeeping coach after being offered the role by Blues boss Peter Taylor, and despite Brennan only working with the pair for a couple of hours he's been very impressed with what he's seen.

He told wwfc.com: "Our first training session went really well and the pair are great characters, it's going to be quite easy to work with them.

"They are really enthusiastic guys and good keepers. I'm really looking forward to working with the pair."

Wanderers are blessed in having two quality keepers and Martin has revealed the names of 'Youngy' and 'Shears' are well known within the game and to himself personally.

He said: "I know about both Scott and Jamie and both of their CV's are very impressive."

Tickets are now on general sale for the Blues' game with AFC Wimbledon on Monday - to buy call 01494 441118.
