Peter Taylor has exclusively revealed to wwfc.com that goalkeeping coach Laurence Batty has left the club.
Taylor said: "I would like to thank Laurence for all the work he has done but I've decided to bring in a new goalkeeping coach."
Batty left the club last Thursday after holding discussions with the Wanderers boss and Taylor has also revealed that a new goalkeeping coach will start on Tuesday.
Laurence joined the club at the start of last season after a successful playing career with non-league side Woking, where he won the FA Trophy on three occasions, and London side Fulham.
His time at Woking saw him score five goals - an incredible feat for a goalkeeper - and he was rewarded with a testimonial against Fulham in August 1999. Laurence later went on to play for Chesham United, St Albans City and Maidenhead United and spent time in charge of Walton and Hersham after hanging up his gloves.
He then joined Chelsea as goalkeeping coach and gained his UEFA 'B' licence before joining the Blues in 2007 to work closely alongside goalkeepers Scott Shearer and Jamie Young, while he was also heavily involved in the coaching of the club's Centre of Excellence.
