Simon Church returned to Adams Park on a two-month loan deal this week and vowed that he and strike partner Matt Harrold can score the goals to keep Wycombe at the top of League Two - starting with Saturday's trip to Accrington Stanley.

The 19-year-old sealed his move back to the Wanderers late on Monday and started alongside Harrold in the 1-1 draw with Barnet the following evening, but has now turned his attentions to the weekend clash where he'll be looking to open his account for the club:
"It's great to play up-front with Matt because he's a big target man and he'll be able to hold the ball up," he told Wanderers World. "It's good working off him and if we can keep doing that in the period that I'm here then we can get a lot of goals.
"We're sitting at the top of the league and we need to win games," he added. "That's what we'll set out to do on Saturday and I think we can do it."
Church's first loan spell with the Blues was ended prematurely by a red card against Dagenham and Redbridge in September, but he returned to form with the Welsh Under-21 side by scoring three times in two games against England and he believes he can leave a positive mark on Wycombe fans in the next two months:
"I wasn't happy that my first loan was cut short but I'm here to make more of an impact this time," he declared. "Going away with Wales has done a lot for my confidence and there's more to come from me."
Former Wycombe striker Steve Claridge has cast his eye over Simon's recent form for Wales and produced a scouting report for The Guardian newspaper - click here to read it.
