Peter Taylor has received a huge boost ahead of Tuesday's trip to Barnet with the news that Reading and Wales Under-21 striker Simon Church has rejoined the Blues on a two-month loan deal, wwfc.com can exclusively reveal.

With Gavin Grant missing from action through illness and fellow forward Chris Zebroski still waiting to hear whether or not his appeal against his red card has been successful, Church's return to Adams Park comes at the perfect time for the Wanderers as they look to continue their fantastic unbeaten start to the new campaign.

The 19-year-old appeared four times for the Blues in a loan spell earlier this season before receiving a red card in the win over Dagenham and Redbridge, but starred for his country in the Under-21 European Championship play-off ties with England a fortnight ago, scoring three times in the two clashes.

Church's current loan deal will run from October 21st until December 20th, fulfilling the maximum 93 days that a player can spend at a club on a short-term loan, including his previous stint with the club which began in August.

Tune in to wwfc.com on Tuesday for the reaction of Peter Taylor to the news, as well as thoughts from ex-Barnet man Scott McGleish ahead of his return to Underhill.
