Wycombe Wanderers have completed the signing of Southend United midfielder Franck Moussa, on a one-month loan deal.

The Belgian under 18 international arrives at Adams Park as Tommy Doherty prepares to serve a three match ban, and will look to fill in for Wycombe's popular playmaker.

He may well be a familiar face to Chairboys fans, as he has faced the Blues twice already this season - appearing in the Shrimpers' 2-1 friendly victory in August, and also in a 4-1 win over Wycombe's reserves last month.

He made his first appearance in a United shirt at the age of just 16, coming off the bench for his debut against Colchester United.

The 19-year-old, who is most comfortable in the centre of midfield, has made fifteen starts for the first team down at Roots Hall.

Peter Taylor told wwfc.com: "He's a good player, I looked at him a lot last season and at the start of this campaign. He's been very unlucky to loose his first team place at Southend after he got sent off, and he's a very similar player to Tommy Doherty. He receives the ball and plays it about in very tight areas - I'm delighted to have him here."

Moussa is set to return to Southend United on November 17th 2008.
