Despite Simon Church not officially joining the club until Friday, wwfc.com caught up with the Reading striker to discuss his loan move to Peter Taylor's Wycombe Wanderers:
"I'm really looking forward to it," he said. "It's a great club and to be honest I can't wait to get started."
The 19-year-old has agreed a one-month loan with the Blues and is eligible to play against Chesterfield on Saturday if selected.
The frontman has also revealed he is relishing the opportunity of working for former England boss and now Blues 'gaffer' Peter Taylor.
He said: "Peter Taylor is a very good manager, he's been at the very highest level and to be play for him will be a very good experience I'm sure."
The move means Church will be embarking on his second spell with the Wanderers after playing for Wycombe's Centre of Excellence as a youngster.
And the Amersham born striker enjoyed every minute of his previous time with the club, as he exclusively told wwfc.com.
He said: "It was such a long time ago but I only have good memories of my time at Wycombe. I grew up with Lewis Christon and I'm sure I'll notice a few other faces around."
One of those faces will be that of Jamie Young, the pair played together at Reading before 'Youngy' moved to the Wanderers in August 2006, and Church is looking forward to reuniting with the Aussie shot-stopper.
Church said: "It'll be a good to see Youngy again, he's a top bloke and a good keeper."
And despite being snapped up by Reading at the age of 14, Church admits he always keeps an eye out for what's going on at Adams Park.
Church said: "I always look out for the results as they are my local team, they have started very well and I'll be aiming to help in anyway I can.
"It's a really well run club and the squad is very impressive for a League Two club."
The striker has since gone on to represent the Wales U21s on three occasions scoring once, and the 19-year-old couldn't talk highly enough of the current Welsh setup.
He said: "It's always an honour to play for your country but maybe even more so at the moment as we have such a strong side."
