SUCCESS FOR ACCESS
Posted on: Mon 11 Aug 2008
Wycombe Wanderers are pleased to report that the new access system at Adams Park got off to a successful start ahead of Saturday's season opener against Morecambe.
For the first time in the Blues' history, season ticket holders were issued with swipecard-style tickets for the 2008/09 campaign which allows supporters to gain simple access to the stadium and hospitality lounges.
A crowd of 4,021 were in attendance for the 1-1 draw against Sammy McIlroy's men, and ticket office manager Matt Gregg was pleased with the positive feedback from Wanderers fans:
"With any new system there's always a possibility that things could go wrong but 99% of fans had no problem getting into the stadium and we've received a number of comments from supporters saying how impressed they are with it, so it's been a good start.
"There were a handful of people who had individual problems on the day but these were resolved quickly by the staff and I'd like anyone who has any further questions or problems to contact me directly so that we can help them and improve the system."
Those Wycombe fans who do not own season tickets can still benefit from discounts and collect loyalty points by becoming a Blues Card member from just £5 for adults or £2.50 for concessions. This enables you to book your ticket over the phone at any time leading up to the match at a reduced rate, and your card will be activated by the time you reach the ground, giving you access to the stadium with no fuss.
