wwfc.com can exclusively reveal that the club have completed the signing of utility player Lewis Hunt.

The 25-year-old former Derby man joins the Blues on a two-year contract following his release from Southend United in the summer, and played a pivotal role in the Shrimpers' climb from League Two to the Championship in recent seasons.

Wanderers boss Peter Taylor told wwfc.com that he feels Hunt's experience and versatility will make him a good acquisition to the squad as the club get ready to launch an assault on the League 2 title.

The 55-year-old said: "He can play in different positions, he's got good experience and he's got two promotions at Southend in the past.

"He's at a good age and it's a good opportunity for him to play football."

The deal has taken Taylor's signings to six for the summer, while the Blues have also agreed a deal for a talented former England youth international, with the paperwork set to be finalised tomorrow morning due to a delay at his current club.

Coming up later on Wanderers World will be an exclusive interview with the new arrival.
