The club are delighted to confirm that Wanderers star Matty Bloomfield has signed his new two-year contract.

wwfc.com
exclusively revealed yesterday that 'Blooms' had agreed terms on his new deal and now it's official!

The midfielder's deal runs until the summer of 2010 and Matty's next target is to return to fitness after injuring his knee in the 2-0 win over Darlington in March.

The 24-year-old said: "I'm happy to have signed and to get my future sorted so now I can concentrate on getting fit without worrying about contracts.

"The gaffer's been brilliant - he says he wants to get me fit, he's seen videos of me playing so he knows all about me.

"I never wanted to leave, I never asked for anything unreasonable and I just wanted to get it sorted."

'Blooms' will be present at the launch of the club's new Charity of the Year, Scannappeal, on Wednesday 16th July at Adams Park.
