As the curtain fell on a glittering Euro 2008 tournament on Sunday evening, our very own bet365 prediction series came to a close with media man Ben Campbell pipping supporter John Jacobs to the title despite failing to win a penny from his bets for the final.

Ben was leading by £13.60 going into the last game of the competition but none of his predictions came to fruition as Fernando Torres scored the crucial goal to hand Spain their first trophy since 1964.

Prediction league expert John collected a total of £5.70 from two correct bets in the final but it wasn't quite enough to deny Ben the victory, which came as a slight surprise given his poor record of predictions for the Wanderers World Preview shows.

But even though the tournament is over, there's still plenty of chances to have a flutter over the summer on the various sporting events - Ben's tipping Roger Federer to win WImbledon yet again at 4/7 so it might be wise to back Rafael Nadal at 13/8!

Thanks to Ben and John for taking part in the prediction series, and don't forget that by betting through the bet365 website you can earn some money for the club at no extra cost to yourself!
