WALK THE LINE

Posted on: Wed 11 Jun 2008

Local school kids were greeted with a big surprise on Tuesday morning, when Wanderers mascot 'Bodger' made an appearance for their 'Crocodile Walk'.

Over 100 pupils from Widmer End C.C. School took part in the event, as they formed a giant 'Crocodile' chain for their walk to school, all in the name of road safety.

Bodger starts off the walk

Bodger is never one to miss out on the fun and was there from the start, leading the line and making sure everyone was kept entertained along the way.

The event started off at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Georges Hill before winding its way round to the School where all those who took part, including a certain sweltering mascot, were rewarded with breakfast and refreshments.

If you would like Bodger to make an appearance at any of your events just e-mail webmaster@wwfc.com.
