Paul Lambert has issued a rallying cry to the Wycombe support after watching his side's 2-1 victory over Bradford City at Adams Park.

Goals from Leon Knight and Delroy Facey insured that the Blues took all three points from the Bantams in an assured performance that equalled the club's all time record for points in a Football League season.

"The lads have been brilliant for me this season, absolutely terrific. I couldn't ask for anything more, they've given me everything," said Paul.

"Three more games and it could be the greatest thing this club has achieved in many years, we need the fans to come out in force and I'm sure they will. It would be great to get close to a sell out."

17-year-old Matt Phillips picked up the man of the match award on his full first team debut, and the 'gaffer' is convinced that the right winger is a shining example of the club's flourishing youth system.

"Phillips played without fear today, I thought he was excellent. This club needs to thank Gary Karsa, Richard Dobson and Ian Culverhouse for what they've done to the youth team," said Lambert.

"They've completely turned it around, it's extraordinary how they've built it up form nothing. It's not just Phillips, we have a great nucleus of talent and some of them have a real chance of making it. If the club don't stick with it, that would be a travesty.

"The youngsters are here, you just need the manager to bring them on. It might take a few years but you have to be patient. Underneath the surface of this football club it's really vibrant."

The nerves will already be setting as the Chairboys look forward to their semi-final tie with Stockport, due to kick off at 6pm Adams Park next Sunday.

Don't forget season ticket holders can by their tickets already and the ticket office will be open from 3pm-6pm on Sunday May 4th.

The phone lines will also be open from 10am-1pm on Bank Holiday Monday.
