Wanderers striker Leon Knight has told wwfc.com that he thinks new loan signing Delroy Facey will be a great addition to the Blues squad following his move to the club last week.

The 27-year-old joined Wanderers on an emergency loan deal until the end of the season from League One side Gillingham and ex-Huddersfield team mate Knight believes Facey will bring something new to the striking department at the club:

"He is a different sort of player to what we have up front at the moment which is good because it allows the gaffer (Paul Lambert) different options. I think he'll be a great addition to the squad.

"Delroy will bring good hold up play, goals, and he's a menace around the box as well as being able to create space for others. He's a real threat."

In their Huddersfield days the pair formed a very productive partnership between them scoring 19 goals in the 2001/02 season and in the same campaign the duo starred in Huddersfield's 4-2 win over Wanderers on March 12th 2002.

The two find themselves re-united again but this time gunning for promotion with Wanderers - a target Leon knows the club can achieve: "We need to be consistent if we're to go up. At home whoever you're playing you've always got to look to win and away not to lose. Against the sides nearer the bottom you should be picking up more points but if you're having an off day then at least get a draw."

Goals have been hard to come by in recent times for the Blues, even for the club's top scorer Scott McGleish and Leon himself, but the ex-Chelsea forward has stated the Blues strikers are ready to get back on the goal trail again.

"We haven't been creating as many chances lately, but the defence have been excellent keeping the ball out and when chances come are way we just need to be ready to take them and with the addition of Delroy that will only help us."
