Paul Lambert was left frustrated as a resilient Barnet side prevented the Blues getting a fifth win on the trot.
The Chairboys marked New Years Day with plenty of possession, but a combination of the linesman's flag and the woodwork ensured that Paul Fairclough's side snatched a draw.
"They've come with one up front, which is their prerogative, I wouldn't play that way myself though. I wouldn't pay to watch Barnet," said Lambert.
"We did everything we could to score, hit the post and the bar. They say that our goal was offside but it came off the defender."
The Wanderers were dangerous going forward at times, with Matt Bloomfield picking up the Man of the Match award after he was cruelly denied by the post.
"Matt was making runs that were hurting them, Serg was great too - there wasn't too much for us to be concerned about."
The Christmas period has been cursed for the Blues in recent years, but a haul of thirteen points out of a possible fifteen has more than put pay to that particular voodoo.
"I would have taken this points haul as long as I thought we were there are there abouts in the table," said Paul.
"That point might just prove to be massive at the end of the season, I think we are sitting pretty."
Barnet boss Paul Fairclough also felt his side could have taken all three points, though he predicted good things for Paul Lambert and his men come the end of the season.
"We were unfortunate not to have won it, we forced Wycombe into playing a game they didn't want to play," he said.
"My players were warrior like. Wycombe are a very good side, with an astute manager and I think they will have a successful season."
