YOUNGY'S DEVON DIARIES - DAY 2

Posted on: Thu 16 Jul 2009
By Jamie Young
Hey everyone, welcome to another Devon diary.

After winning our first game of the tournament against Bideford we weren't allowed any respite, and the next day we were back on the training ground again testing our fitness and ball work.

Even though I'm only 23 I sometimes feel like I have the back of a 40-year-old! It was apparent that I was going to be useless the day after a game, but the exercise did me some good and after we finished up I felt a little less stiff from the last few days.

After training we were left to our own devices (and believe me there has been plenty of down time). One thing though was that all the other teams in the tournament are staying in the same place.

Some people might think that there would be a little trouble, but most of us know eachother so it's been like a little PFA reunion. In fact I was surprised at how many people I have got to know over the years.

Does that mean I'm getting older??? It's nice in a way, as it makes you feel like you're really part of something...

Bring on day three!
