It was a tale of two 2-1 scorelines at the weekend as Wanderers travelled to Stevenage Borough and Chelmsford City within the space of less than 24 hours, and Peter Taylor's side returned to Bucks with one win and one defeat to reflect upon as they continue their preparations for the new season.

The squad travelled up to the 'Five Lakes' resort in Essex earlier in the week for a mini training camp in preparation for the weekend's action.

The top class facilities, often used by the England U21 side, provided a great chance for the team to relax and unwind before getting down to business on Friday night.

Second-half goals from Chris Zebroski and Scott McGleish handed the Blues a win at Broadhall Way on Friday night against the Blue Square Premier side but suffered a defeat in Essex the following day as the visitors slipped to their second loss in the pre-season campaign.

Paul Dennis was at both matches to provide wwfc.com with photos from the weekend, while there will also be more on display in the matchday programme for next Saturday's game with Southend United at Adams Park.
