The Wycombe Wanderers Community Trust have been decorated with the Football League's prestigious 'Silver Award', in recognition of their outstanding work in the local area.
The scheme, which achieved 'bronze' status just seven months ago, has fulfilled the criteria set by the game's governing body which aims to acknowledge the work of clubs within their community.
The Blues become one of only 20 clubs in the Football League to earn the hallmark, recognising their good practice in areas such as human resources, activity programmes, health resources, education and social inclusion.
Adams Park even boasts its own specific 'themed officer', with Akeel Akram in charge of diversity at the Wanderers.
The Community Trust was also recognised for their excellent work in building partnerships with local and national organisations such as:
Scheme Manager Dave Evans told wwfc.com: "All the hard work from the trust staff and indeed the staff at the club has fully deserved the kite mark of this silver award.
"It's not unusual for us to receive a phone call from a club much further up the league ladder than ourselves asking for examples of good practice in the scheme, and I think that speaks volumes. Our aim will now be to push on and get the gold."
