Wanderers' Community Trust has set about the task of trying to bring a blend of healthy eating and exercise to local children.
The 'Awards For All' funded initiative offers the kids at Waterside Combined School in Chesham the opportunity to enjoy 45-minute practical sessions on the mornings of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Children can choose from cereal, toast or fruit for their healthy breakfast before taking part in sporting activities such as football, cricket, hockey, golf, basketball, athletics and rugby.
The scheme has been a massive hit with the school since it started after the Easter holidays and plans are in place to continue with the term time initiative for the next two years.
Ash Smith, the club's South Bucks Community Officer told wwfc.com: "The scheme has opened the kids' eyes to eating properly and the importance of exercise in a healthy lifestyle.
"Supplying breakfast to the children ensures they have a good start to the day."
Following the success at Waterside Combined, the club are now in the process of looking for further funding so more schools in the local area can enjoy this brand new initiative.
