Wanderers and Wasps joined forces on Wednesday afternoon by sending their biggest stars to greet the hundreds of school children congregated around Eden shopping centre.

Bodger and Sting initially played a game of hide and seek throughout Wycombe high street, much to the amusement of the hundreds of fans milling around the town centre, who had the week off school due to half-term.

Blues fans young and old were in buoyant mood after Tuesday evening's vital away victory at Dagenham and were delighted with Bodger and Sting's surprise appearance. The fun did not stop there. Keen to spread the joy of another important victory for Peter Taylor's men on Tuesday night, Bodger came bearing gifts, much to the delight of the Chairboy's faithful, who braved the late winter chill to greet their heroes.

Not to be outdone, Sting was jester in chief, buzzing around and generally being mischievous and up to no good. The afternoon proved to be a great success, with the duo only too happy to entertain the local school children, not forgetting the slightly older Wanderers supporters who had an equally great time (although they were too mature to admit it.).
