Wycombe have shown their support to a worthy cause this week, by hosting a 'Show Racism the Red Card' event in their very own Vere Suite.
The campaign visits Adams Park annually and the Wanderers were more than happy to welcome them once again, with first team stars Nathan Ashton and Lewis Hunt joining forces with the likes of Dave Bassett, Leroy Rosenior and Dean Gordon to spread the message.
They took the floor in front of over one hundred school children from the local area, who watched an educational video on the subject of racism, featuring the likes of Thierry Henry, Didier Drogba and Samuel Eto.

They were then able to ask questions on the subject, fielded expertly by the Wanderers players and the rest of the panel.
Ged Grebby, Project Coordinator, said: "Show Racism the Red Card were extremely pleased to have one of our first educational events with football clubs in the 2008/09 season with Wycombe Wanderers FC. It was brilliant that the club again gave their full support to the campaign. This is the second event that the club have hosted at Adams Park"

"We were pleased to see how the audience reacted to the new SRtRC film, which is an excellent addition to our range of educational resources and will be available to schools from October onwards."
