Full-time
All over here at Carrow Road and a disappointing 5-2 defeat for the Wanderers - the manner in which we conceded the goals was poor and there is work to be done. But we all knew these first four games were going to be extremely tough - let's wipe the slate clean, and start the season again when Bristol Rovers visit Adams Park next Saturday.
90+1 mins
Simon Lappin may have set up four goals with his left peg but he clearly hasn't got a right foot, banging one high and wide from 20 yards.
90th min
The impressive Cody McDonald wins a corner with some tricky footwork. Four minutes added on.
89th min
More nice play from Phillips but his shot is blocked from 20 yards.
87th min
Hoolahan dances into the box after a nice passing move but is flagged offside, but City certainly aren't in the mood to stop attacking.
84th min
Great run from Matty Phillips down the left - he cuts into the area, pulls it back but the ball is tucked away for a corner, which is cleared.
81st min
Keepball now from the hosts, knocking it around freely, before the Wanderers win it back and indulge in some of their own possession tactics.
79th min
Smart save with his legs from Shears as Grant Holt breezes into the area looking for a hat-trick, but his low shot wasn't good enough to beat the Scotsman.
77th min
Should have added that LJ was booked for a foul on 66 minutes.
73rd min
Hoolahan on for Smith for Norwich.
71st min
GOAL - Another horror show. Mousinho loses it in midfield, McDonald strolls forward, rolls it into Grant Holt who lifts it into the net. Far too easy.
70th min
Quite a lull in the game now and the Blues have got 20 minutes to turn things around.
66th min
Matty Phillips is on, replacing Lewis Montrose. Matt and Zebs will play on the wings, with Mous and Green in the middle.
63rd min
Two subs for City - Cureton and Hughes are off, McDonald and Adeyemi are on.
60th min
Good low effort from Westwood after a Zebroski cross was only half cleared, but the keeper got down to it.
59th min
Matt Harrold soars to the heavens to meet a long cross from Woodman and his header isn't too far away from the top corner. He's done well today.
58th min
Good clearing header from Zebs and he follows up the resulting throw-in with a long clearance upfield.
57th min
And now a corner at the other end. McVeigh to take.
56th min
Corner to Wycombe now - to the lads' credit, they just will not lie down.
55th min
Simon Lappin, creator of all four City goals, almost gets one for himself with a stunning chip which Shears does well to tip over. Wanderers successfully defend the corner.
51st min
Wanderers win their own set piece and Woodman's corner is eventually worked out to Lewis Montrose, whose drilled shot loops over the bar via a deflection for a corner. Then, LJ's stooping header goes just wide. Put your money on a 15-15 draw.
49th min
GOAL - in true Wycombe fashion, we concede from a set piece. Askou gets in front of his man, powers it home and all hope vanishes yet again.
47th min
GOAL! HELLO! We're back in business and what.a.goal. from Matty Harrold. Long ball forward from LJ, Zebs heads it on and Matty holds off the strong challenge to volley it left-footed into the top corner. You could hear a pin drop in the home stand - come on!
46th min
The Blues are out - no changes at the break - and we're off again.
Second half
Norwich are out early from their break but I imagine the hairdryer is still on full power in the visiting dressing room.
Still no sign of the Blues, and I've just been subjected to the most patronising comments from some of the Norwich supporters around me, thinking they'll score seven in this game. Really hope we can serve them some of Delia's humble pie later.
Half-time
Well where to start? City took a three-goal lead courtesy of the most generous defending from set pieces for a long time, but JP has given us hope with a close range finish six minutes before the break. It could be an interesting second period - join us again in 15 mins.
45+2 mins
Good play from Zebroski down the right to beat a couple of men to send in a fierce low cross, before an audacious chip from Cureton sails over at the other end.
45+1 mins
JP's back up and looks fine now.
45th min
JP's down hurt after a crunching challenge and I think now would be a good time for the half-time break. Three minutes added on.
43rd min
It's taken about 40 minutes but the Blues look up for the fight. Wouldn't be surprised to see a few subs at the break, as this game might not be completely over just yet.
42nd min
For those listening to Chairboys Player, apologies if the commentary is intermittent - we'll try our best to fix it at the break, but if we try to do before then you could be without commentary completely for a few minutes. And at this rate, you'd miss a few goals!
40th min
Well that's put the cat amongst the pigeons and the only noise is coming from the blue quarter of the stadium. That goal doesn't atone for the earlier errors though - we absolutely gifted Paul Lambert the easiest three-goal lead anyone could ask for.
39th min
GOAL! Whoa whoa whoa, hold the back page - Pittman's got one back. Mistake from Askou in defence and JP has the freedom of the area to roll it under the keeper.
38th min
Without Scott Shearer we could be five down - great save from the big man from another Lappin curling free-kick, and also a smart follow-up from Cureton's cross.
36th min
GOAL - unbelievable. 3-0. City win two headers in the box from the corner and it's Jon Otsemobor's effort which sails into the top corner off the post. What more can you say?
35th min
Another corner to City - PLEASE let's keep this out...
34th min
A decent response from the Blues and we win a corner in front of the visiting fans, who, after a spell of stunned silence, are trying to rally the troops.
32nd min
Cureton's low cross is just behind Grant Holt and the Blues are let off the hook.
31st min
Good play from Shears to race from his goal and hammer the ball into the stand ahead of Jamie Cureton. Shears couldn't have done anything about the two goals either.
30th min
Oh, and the officials are spotting every little infringement from a blue shirt but not from the yellows. Good day all round then.
29th min
Lady Luck is having her say in the game as well, and doesn't it always happen with the famous 'honeymoon period' when a new manager comes in? Two City players collide in the middle of the park and yet somehow the ball stil breaks for them.
27th min
Good play from JP to win a throw-in and the shell-shocked Blues need a response. Unfortunately, the City defence who shipped seven goals a fortnight ago seem to have remembered how to play football, and are making life hard for us.
25th min
GOAL - famous last words eh? Another corner isn't cleared properly and Korey Smith rifles home from 20 yards. This is getting frustratingly predictable. 2-0.23rd min
Fine save from Shearer as he keeps out Simon Lappin's curling free-kick from 30 yards. As long as we don't let them score again, hopefully we can bring ourselves back into the game with longer spells of possession as we did at Charlton.
21st min
All of the action has been at the wrong end and our front two are looking pretty isolated. We've gifted the home side the first goal and now they have the upper-hand, the momentum and the ability to control the game.
18th min
The home fans lift the noise and we've really shot ourselves in the foot with more poor marking from a set piece which led to the goal. Teams at this level will punish mistakes like that.
17th min
And it could have been two - Paul McVeigh looked to have handled it as he brought the ball down from a deep cross, but it's not given and his low shot just evades the far post.
16th min
GOAL - Wanderers are undone from a set piece again and somehow Grant Holt, the dangerman, escapes his marker and pokes home from six yards. Poor poor defending, and we're behind.
15th min
A solid defensive start from the Blues has hushed the home crowd a bit, but now they have a chance with a free-kick on the left wing for a foul by JP.
13th min
A couple of feisty tackles are made in midfield but referee J Moss allows play to continue and the home side break, with Cureton having the ball nicked off his toes by Duberry inside the area.
10th min
Michael Duberry will have a tough test on his hands against the beefy Grant Holt this afternoon but he does well to win a header inside the box ahead of the ex-Shrewsbury man.
9th min
Another chance for the Blues to get the ball into the box with a free-kick, and again Matt Harrold wins it in the area, but the home defence scramble it clear. If we can get the first goal, the confidence amongst the home fans will vanish.
6th min
Scott Shearer does well to claim a low cross from Paul McVeigh after a nice flick from Grant Holt - City are doing well, but it's encouraging to see Wycombe playing two men up front and hopefully Matt and JP can link up well.
5th min
First corner to Wycombe now, and Stuart Green's kick is headed back across goal by Matt Harrold, but JP's shot on the turn was blocked and City get it clear. Quite a bright start to the game for both sides.
4th min
It was well headed clear by Chris Westwood and Stephen Hughes' follow-up drive was blocked by Matt Harrold on the edge of the area - good defending.
3rd min
Early free-kick to the home side for a foul 40 yards out - first chance to get the ball into the box.
1st min
The Canaries kicked off from left to right as we look at it, which might be a benefit to us as the City keeper will have the sun in his eyes for the first 45 minutes.
14.59
Both teams enter their respective huddles as the City crowd greet every name on their teamsheet with huge applause, but the biggest cheer is saved for Lambert's name as he gives a clap to the crowd. We're underway - come on Wycombe!
14.58
Here comes the teams first - great noise from all four stands. The handshakes are taking place, and here comes your man Lambert - quite a subtle entrance as he slips into the dugout, shying away from the press attention.

The stage is set for Paul Lambert to walk on to the pitch and be introduced to the City crowd, with a posse of photographers lying in wait.
14.48
Right, the players have returned to the dressing room for one last pep-talk after the warm-up and this fantastic arena is gradually becoming more and more full with a sea of yellow and green shirts - with a decent number of light and dark blue shirts being squeezed into one corner.
It's all set up for a big Norwich City love-in and they're all expecting their first three points of the campaign - let's spoil the party.

It's a glorious day here in East Anglia with a slight breeze blowing across the pitch, and it's a great setting for what should be an entertaining 90 minutes.
Of course the Canaries lost here 7-1 on their last outing and there have been several light-hearted comments from their supporters about our strikers having a field day today, but optimism is on the up courtesy of Lambert's arrival and the buzz that has been generated around the club as a result.
14.30
Paul Lambert makes five changes to the Canaries side as he looks to stamp his authority on the club - the stand-out names in their team are the strikeforce of Jamie Cureton and Grant Holt, while ex-Spurs defender Gary Doherty only makes the bench.
14.25
So the teams are in and Wycombe make FOUR changes to the side that drew 1-1 with Southend on Tuesday - Leon Johnson comes in for his first minutes of the campaign, Chris Westwood returns to the side (we think at right-back), and JP Pittman and Stuart Green both come in to the starting XI.
New signing Ashley Chambers is on the bench after arriving on loan from Leicester City yesterday - the striker has an impressive scoring record for the England youth set-up and could well be a shrewd signing.
14.20
Good afternoon and welcome to Carrow Road for the 'big reunion' as Peter Taylor's men come up against former Blues boss Paul Lambert in the Scotsman's first game in charge of Norwich City.
We were treated to some complimentary Delia Smith pies in the press room and the Internet connection is on a par with Usain Bolt - it's shaping up to be a good day!
