Ben Campbell reporting from Oak Tree Road
Marlow 1-0 Wanderers
Roche (61)
Wanderers XI: Sam Cowler, Anthony Stewart, Tom O'Regan, Dean Wallace, Leika Saku (Graham 88), Dwayne Campbell, Jerome Federico (Harris 74), Sam Belcher, George Daly (Palladino, 60), Dan Fitchett, Matt McClure (Scowen 78).
A youthful Wanderers side slipped to a valiant 1-0 defeat to Marlow on Tuesday evening.
The deciding goal came on 61 minutes when Jermaine Roche, who had earlier seen a penalty saved by Sam Cowler, fired low past the Wanderers stopper.
Richard Dobson's men improved as the game went on and can count themselves unlucky not to walk away with a draw, following a number of decent openings in the closing 20 minutes.
89th min - The Blues still have time but can they turn an improved second half performance into an equaliser?
88th min - Leika Saku has been replaced by Jesse Graham.
86th min - Now it's the offside flag that denies the Blues, as Palladino is adjudged to be offside following a nice through ball from Fitchett. Pietro has caused problems for the Marlow backline since entering the field.
84th min - Drake is again called into action to deny Belcher from the edge of the area, following another flowing move from the Blues.
82nd min - Less than 10 minutes remain here at Oak Tree Road and can the Blues find a way back?
78th min - Matt McClure has down right in front of the dug-outs and is replaced by Josh Scowen.
75th min - Belcher is the man looking the most likely to grab the Blues an equaliser from midfield and this time his well driven shot was no more than a foot over Drake's bar. We're getting closer.
74th min - Kadeem Harris replaces Jerome Federico.
73rd min - The Wanderers' final ball is the only thing letting them down and the moment because they are playing some nice stuff in and around the box.
70th min - With Marlow pushing for a second, Johnny Isaac flashes a header just over the bar from a corner from the left hand side.
68th min - The Wanderers are peppering the Marlow goal and Palladino racks up his first shot on target from 18 yards. The forward unleashes a fierce drive but Drake does well to gather.
67th min - Despite talking about a couple of more clear-cut chances for the Blues, a speculative effort from Belcher nearly draws the visitors level. His left-foot shot was just over the bar.
65th min - Pretty well to be honest. Firstly Belcher chipped narrowly over the bar from 15 yards and then Federico brought a decent save from the legs of Drake.
63rd min - I wonder how this young Wanderers side will respond?
61st min - GOAL! Roche has finally got his goal. The Marlow no.10 wriggled his way into the area and fired a low drive beyond Sam Cowler.
60th min - George Daly is going to be replaced by Pietro Palladino. The young striker looks to have picked up a groin injury.
58th min - The game has opened up in the second half and the Blues are looking more and more likely to score.
55th min - Wanderers put their best passing move together but it's all wasted when Matt McClure's reverse pass pushes Tom O'Regan into making a foul.
52nd min - Sam Belcher brings a great save from Kieron Drake from the edge of the area. The midfielder let fly but the Marlow stopper was up to the challenge.
50th min - George Daly goes within a width of a post of opening the scoring. The quick forward dazzles his way inside the full back but is unable to hit the target from 15 yards. Promising play from Daly.
49th min - This 45 has began very evenly, as we see recent recruit Dwayne Campbell demonstrate some lovely skill to lift the ball away from his marker.
47th min - Thank god it's stopped! Let's hope it can inspire the Wanderers players to a win here at Marlow.
46th min - The Wanderers get us underway in this second half and as the second 45 commences we still have "Take my breath away" ringing in our ears!
Half-time here at Oak Tree Road and the score remains deadlocked.
Wanderers keeper Sam Cowler is the man of the half though, after saving Jermaine Roche's penalty on six minutes before tipping Johnny Isaac's effort round the post just before the break.
The closest the Blues have come was an effort from Dwayne Campbell from the edge of the area, which flew over the bar. Join me again in 15.
45th min - Cowler, in the Wanderers goal, pulls off a blinding save to keep the scores level. Johnny Isaac let fly from the edge of the area but the young keeper was up to the challenge, as he tipped the ball round the post. Cowler has been superb in this opening 45.
43rd min - Stunning play from Dean Wallace leaves his marker for dead in the middle of the park but his effort for the spectacular crossfield pass fell foul and the attack breaks down.
41st min - One spectator tries to get in on the action as he heads the ball back onto the field of play. Sign him up Blues. An experienced looking chap, with a bit of weight behind him could be just what we need!
39th min - The ball in was a beauty but no could get on the end of it and Belcher's shot from the edge of the box was deflected away.
38th min - Tenacious work from Fitchett wins the Blues a free-kick on the edge of the box. Wallace stands over it..
36th min - The home side are enjoying their best spell of the game at the moment, although Richard Dobson's men are standing strong here at Oak Tree Road.
34th min - Sam Wadeih is the next Marlow man to try and open the scoring, but his header flies over the top of the bar from a cross from the left.
31st min - Roche goes within inches of making up for his penalty miss as he flashes a shot just wide of Cowler's left hand post.
28th min - A nice lay-off from Matt McClure brings a foul on the left hand side but O'Regan's cross isn't up to his usual standard and is cleared away.
26th min - Marlow have a corner on the far side and Johnny Gray whips it in but it's cleared by George Daly of all people.
24th min - Sam Belcher has settled very well in this game and is starting to dictate the midfield. If the Blues can get the ball to him he can utilise the pace of Fitchett or Daly over the top or down the channels.
21st min - Both teams are continuing to enjoy prolonged spells of ball time but at the moment are struggling to create any openings.
19th min - Federico enjoys his first run of the game but is stopped in his tracks as his touch lets him down and falls to his opposite marker.
17th min - Northern Ireland U19 international Matt McClure works his socks off as he just demonstrated them to track back and make a challenge on Sam Wadieh.
16th min - Young professionals George Daly and Dan Fitchett are the strike pairing up top for the Wanderers tonight as the latter challenges for a Dean Wallace cross from the left.
14th min - An enjoyable game to watch so far, with both teams putting nice passing together, but the final pass is eluding both at the moment.
12th min - A nice turn inside from right sided midfielder Jerome Federico draws a free-kick 25 yards out. The resulting kick brought a corner for the Blues, but when the cross came to the back post Dwayne Campbell fired over from 15 yards.
11th min - Dan Fitchett looks bright and lively, as you would except from the young striker. Richard Dobson's got his U18s side drilled well and they work incredibly hard for each other.
10th min - The home side find some space on the edge of the area but Alex Cairns' cross is poor and Cowler is able to come and claim on the 6-yard box.
8th min - Marlow are enjoying the more of the possession as things stand but the Blues look good when they get the ball in Marlow's defensive third.
6th min - Sam Cowler is the hero though as he dives to his right and safely gathers Jermaine Roche's spot-kick. In all fairness a poor penalty but give credit to the goalkeeper.
5th min - Penalty to Marlow. The ball was whipped in from the left hand side and the referee adjudged that the ball illegally hit Leika Saku's hand.
4th min - Strong start from both sides as they look to gain the upper hand in the early stages. Sam Belcher wins a free-kick in the middle of the park after quick play to knick the ball off his marker.
2nd min - George Daly gets his first touch of the night and forces a corner down the left. The kick was swung in and had to be dealt with by Mark Avery.
1st min - Marlow get us underway here at Oak Tree Road and are kicking towards my right. Blues boss Peter Taylor is in the crowd this evening, as he looks over the the youngsters at the club.
