Full-Time at Adams Park and Peter Taylor's first game in charge has ended in a 1-1 draw with Morecambe. A better 2nd half performance from the Blues but they couldn't get the winner after Morecambe had levelled with just over 20 minutes left. Although it's not a win, it's a good start.
93rd min - Spence has got a yellow for his troubles after a poor tackle. A moment earlier he could have unleashed another effort on that special left foot but he cut inside and was crowded house.
92nd min - Diarmuid O'Carroll has come on for Matty Blinkhorn.
91st min - Stewart Drummond has replaced Michael Carr. Mousinho did well to track back then, good performance from the ex-Brentford man on his debut.
90th min - The Blues have still got a chance of winning this one - the 4th official has indicated there will be 6 minutes of added time.
88th min - Blues created another opening with Spence the man again who has the final shot of the move. The shot was deflected but no corner was awarded - let's just say the Blues bench was annoyed.
86th min - Crooks is being replaced by Will Antwi.
84th min - Again Grant is the danger man for the Blues as he starts and ends the move with another great effort at the end of it, this time his effort grazed the outside of the post.
81st min - The attendance has been announced and it's 4021.
78th min - Wayne Curtis is replacing Morecambe's man of the match Neil Wainwright.
77th min - Great play from the Blues, a team move ended up with Spence on the left, he fired in a cross only to see it roll agoninsingly across the line. We're getting closer.
75th min - Blues are putting Morecambe under a bit more pressure and they have their second corner in succession.
73rd min - Comfy save from Scott Shearer to deny Wainwright as he cut in from the left.
70th min - Great defending from a mixture of the Blues team to deny Morecambe the lead. Wainwright fired in a cross, Shearer parried and then a number of shots were blocked by Willo, Johnson and then Woodman on the line to keep the Blues on level terms.
66th min - Morecambe are level after David Artell guided the ball home after a knock down from Jim Bentley. Can I say though the goal has come from a free-kick that never should have been awarded. Adams went down without any touch it seemed.
62nd min - Blues were nearly 2-0 up. Grant intercepted a misplaced pass, ran at his defender and unleased from the corner of the 18-yard and only the fingertips of Roche kept it to 1-0. Exciting play from the ex-Millwall man.
60th min - End to end stuff at the minute as the keeper's were playing the ball to each other! The Blues have upped the tempo and are looking better.
57th min - Great skill from Doc as he left Hunter for dead and then fed Zebroski. The Wanderers forward was on to it in a flash but his shot was blasted into the side netting.
55th min - Jim Bentley has wasted Morecambe's first chance of the 2nd half as the skied over from a difficult angle.
52nd min - Only the strength of Jim Bentley denied Chris Zebroski nicking in front of the Morecambe skipper, which he would have inevitably gone round the keeper and made it 2-0.
50th min - Great tackle from Lewwis Spence to deny Garry Hunter time and space in the middle of the park.
49th min - Quite a slow start to the 2nd half from the Blues. They need to get a grip on this half.
One change for the Blues at half-time is Gary Holt being replaced by John Mousinho.
Half-Time at Adams Park and the Blues go in 1-0 up after Lewwis Spence's great finish on 34 minutes. The game has been pretty even to be honest but this game is no means over as Morecambe have looked threatening on a number of occasions. Decent first half from the Blues but Peter Taylor will know his side can improve.
44th min - The Blues have a free-kick in a very dangerous position and the Doc has been booked for an unknown reason.
42nd min - Skipper Tommy Doherty has looked as composed as ever in the centre of the midfield.
37th min - Morecambe are continuing to look threatening as they go forward and they look most dangerous out on this right-hand side with Wainwright.
35th min - Let's hope that goal can help the Blues settle as the goal has probably come against the run of play.
34th min - GOAL!!! Wanderers 1-0 Morecambe. Lewwis Spence has opened his account for the Blues in tremendous style after firing the ball into the bottom right corner from 25 yards.
31st min - Great covering from Gary Holt after chasing back 40 yards to knock the ball out of play, Neil Wainwright and Morecambe were threatening again.
29th min - Wanderers are ever so lucky to be on level terms still their new signing Neil Wainwright has just rifled in a shot from 25 yards and all Scott Shearer could do was watch the ball over the bar.
24th min - Great flick on from Scotty McGleish, it ran through to Gavin Grant but the wingers touch to too long and it ran through to Barry Roche in the Morecambe goal.
21st min - Garry Hunter has let fly from 25 yards but luckily for the Blues it sailed over the bar.
19th min - It looks as if Sammy McIlroy has changed his mind on the sub as O'Carroll has sat back down.
17th min - Another good move from the Blues, this time it was a cross from Grant but his fellow winger Zebroski headed wide from 10 yards.
15th min - Morecambe are making a change - O'Carroll is stripped and ready for action.
14th min - Both teams have settled well without really threatening each others goal.
11th min - This time it was a great ball in from Lewwis Spence that caused Morecambe problems, he was fed by McGleish he crossed in but Grant couldn't quite meet it.
9th min - Wanderers doing well to deny Morecambe from a series of corners.
6th min - Great sweeping football from the Blues, Doc played a sweet ball out to the left To Craig Woodman but unfortunately for the left-back his cross wasn't met by any of his team mates.
5th min - We have just seen that in action, Grant beat Adams to the byline and sent in a cross which has been deflected for a corner.
4th min - Bright start from both sides and you already see the Blues are going to try and use the pace of Zebroski and Grant against the full-backs of Parrish and Adams.
2nd min - First chance of the day has fallen to Rene Howe but the striker on loan from Peterborough has scuffed his shot wide.
1st min - We're off. The season has started.
The teams are out and the Blues faithful are in good voice ahead of this season opener. The Doc will skipper the side and he is currently at the centre circle with Morecambe skipper Jim Bentley.
