BUCKETS RAISED FOR KIDS IN SPORT

Posted on: Wed 04 Nov 2009
Wycombe Wanderers would like to thank supporters who contributed to a grand total of £1011.26 for the club's charity of the season, Kids In Sport, at Saturday's game with Walsall.

The local charity ran a football activity and a bucket collection as part of the Wanderers' Community Day at Adams Park, and the money raised will go towards "helping less fortunate kids take part in sport".

The day will also be fondly remembered by 10-year-old Blues fan Callum Jefferies, who was presented with a signed shirt by chairman Ivor Beeks (pictured right) pre-match after winning the charity's quiz in the club's match day programme - 'Quarters'.
