Scannappeal's final Charity of the Season total has been given a huge boost with the news that they raised over £25k from their joint Midnight Wander venture with the South Bucks Hospice.
More than 500 ladies left Adams Park at midnight on Saturday to take part in the 12-and-a-half mile route to Loudwater and back to raise money for the local charities.
And on their return the club's Food and Beverage team served the walkers breakfast in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Wanderers chairman Ivor Beeks was joined by TV presenter Fern Britton in setting the walkers on the way, before he made his own way onto the course to help some of the club's Adams Park Security stewards marshal the event.

Club secretary Keith Allen and F & B assistant manager Simon Hunt also offered their services on the night, as they assisted in the first aid.
Scannappeal director Amanda Martin said: "Scannappeal and the South Bucks Hospice are really grateful to Wycombe Wanderers for helping make the first Midnight Wander possible.

"To use Adams Park as a start and finish point was great and all the help we received from the staff at the club, many of whom stayed up throughout the night to help in different ways, was invaluable."
All-told the wander raised £51k - a split of over £25k for both Scannappeal and the South Bucks Hospice.
Scannappeal's total now stands at over £50k. The final amount will be announced at the club's first home game of the season against Leeds United on Saturday 15th August.
