As well as coming on board as advertising partners at Adams Park on matchdays, the leisure centre will be enabling the club’s players and medical staff to benefit from its state-of-the-art facilities including two swimming pools, modern gymnasium and indoor sports hall.
Damian Irvine, commercial manager of the football club, said: “A relationship with the Wycombe Leisure Centre is a perfect fit for us and there’s no question that the facility will be a major asset to the local community once it opens.
“They have a superb range of facilities which will help our players keep fit and recover from injuries, and these will be invaluable particularly in bad weather when training outdoors isn’t possible.
"Perhaps the most important aspect of this partnership is that our players, staff and club badge will be active right in the heart of the Wycombe District Council's local area, encouraging and inspiring children, teens and families to participate in the vast selection of activities on offer at the centre.”
Stuart Lee, general manager of Wycombe Leisure Centre, said: “We’re delighted to be teaming up with Wycombe Wanderers and look forward to developing a partnership with the leading professional sports club in the area.
“They have an exciting vision for the future as a community-owned football club and we’re proud to be supporting them on and off the pitch.”
