Legendary Wanderers goalkeeper John Maskell welcomed his six-year-old grandson Stanley to his first ever game at Adams Park earlier this month.

Maskell Snr, who played 753 times for the Chairboys between 1964 and 1980, invited Stanley to the match against Cheltenham Town on Saturday 8th April, and bought him a current Wycombe goalkeeper top with 'Maskell 1' printed on the back.

Stanley met current Wycombe stars Paris Cowan-Hall and Sam Saunders, plus former manager Peter Suddaby, in an executive box used by the Wycombe Wanderers Ex-Players Association, of which John has recently been named president.

The six-year-old is said to have loved his first visit to Adams Park and has not stopped talking about it since.

Wanderers recently launched its season ticket package for the 2017/18 campaign, focused on encouraging families to attend matches next year and offering fantastic value for money, particularly in the Origin Family Stand where under 11s go free and juniors can buy season tickets for just £46.
